day 13.

I woke up today with this truth-image forming, slips of words until I looked up the verse to be submersed into its entirety:

lamentations 3

 I remember my affliction and my wandering,
    the bitterness and the gall.
20 I well remember them,
    and my soul is downcast within me.
21 Yet this I call to mind
    and therefore I have hope:

22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
    therefore I will wait for him.”

25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
    to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
    for the salvation of the Lord.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke
    while he is young.

“[His compassions] are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

This is the slip of truth-image, the Word that came to me early, early this morning.
Breath: joy & rest.
See: the sun.

“[His compassions] are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Peace, peace and assurance that He is there, He is with me, He is faithful and restores my soul and body daily, whether or not I always see it/feel it/believe it.

He is faithful when I am not.
Patient when I am uncertain.
Loving behind the scenes.
Working all things for me.

“[His compassions] are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Help me to see these renewed every morning, to seek and also wait for them out in your own time.
